Collection: Make the Cardinals Great Again

For most of the last 130 years, it’s been pretty fun to be a St. Louis Cardinals fan. 11 World Series titles, 19 NL pennants, and 15 playoff appearances since 2000 are among the proudest traditions in baseball, and unrivaled by any team in a mid-sized city. The team’s greatness is rewarded by Cardinal Nation - a massive national fan base, dominant across multiple states, outsized home attendance, and regional and traveling fans who often create a home field advantage on the road.

Things have been less fun lately. After two straight wild card losses, 2023 made the Mike Shildt era feel like a dynasty. For the first time in a generation, the Cardinals need to rebuild. Will they bother? This year’s travesty was good for #4 in MLB attendance, ahead of 104-win Atlanta!

Cardinal Nation may be loyal, but we’re not stupid. We don’t all agree on politics, but we can agree that the team isn’t great anymore. We’ve made a multi-billion dollar business, and they need to deliver competence, talent, excitement, and championships.
